Santorini - Fira

Santorini Itinerary

Fira

"Fira, is a vision of dramatic cliffs and pristine whitewashed buildings. The Archaeological Museum contains Minoan artifacts from Fira’s ancient foundations, while several churches and monasteries offer a glimpse into the historical and contemporary religious make up of this beautiful village. Exploring the shops and cafes along Fira’s narrow footpaths is a leisurely way to spend an afternoon. " (Trip Advisor)

Personally, I like Fira is more of "backpackers place" with lot of shops and bars.  You can find expensive restaurants to very cheap food, which are really good.  The plaza has many small shops with lots of cheap food and desserts.

The Bars (Highlander)

The Highlander was a good bar with really good music and good price for cocktails (half price and thus, costing 5 Euros per glass).  It can be really crowded though.

The Bars (Two brothers)

The Two Brothers is so so.  Not so much of good music, and the cocktails is 12 euros for 2, thus slightly more expensive than the Highlander.

The Donkey Path to the Port

Do not try to walk down. It is very slippery and there are so many donkeys passing by.  It took us ages just to get down.

Catholic Cathedral of Saint John Baptist

Where to Eat?

Fira

Niki Restaurant

The food was good and quite cheap.  We ended up paying around 20 Euros per person.  We did not drink wine or anything, just shared food and bottled water.
The good thing about this place is you have a beautiful view of the Sunset in Fira.

They really do good Aubergines in Greece.

Grilled Swordfish

 Grilled Chicken

Marinara

Cheap Eats

Obelix

Prolly the best cheap eats in Fira.  I've tried the Souvlaki Pork in Arabic Pita Bread.  It was cheap, only costs around 3 Euros.  FYI, the pork was good.  The chicken was good but a bit dry.  Didn't get to try the lamb as it seemed to be popular and they ran out of it fast.
Santorini Salad

Tomato Balls - not good

Love their Souvlakis

Souvlaki Pita Gyro

This also has good Gyros and Souvlakis.  But I find the ones in Obelix better though. Cheap eats at the Plaza here.

Bagiatiko Food Bar

You can get all sorts of food from Souvlakis, Gyros, to Burgers.  The other two options above tasted better though.

Where to Stay?

Thera Terra

A house in a vineyard and a 10-minute drive to Perissa Beach (the Black Beach).  This place is nice and has 3 floors.  See AirBnb post here.  Costs from 150 Dollars per night.
