September 4, 2020 Went to Eaton canyon for the long weekend and was hoping not to get heatstroke with temp going as high as 105F during this weekend. It was pretty OK since we went quite early at 8 am and this was an easy hike of around 3Miles (round trip) which took us around less than 1.5 Hours. The trail going there was pretty much open until you reach the bridge (you actually have to go under the bridge and follow the path of the creek towards the falls), and then it's pretty shaded but this is only around 25% of the route, wish it was a bit longer. The Falls itself was pretty small. Probably, because it

Website:  https://www.portlandcider.com/ Address: 3638 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97214 Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Feedback: July 6, 2018 $10 dollars for 6 tasting There's a good variety of cider and the place was pretty homey and nice, smacked in Hawthorne Blvd. Ciders were not fantastic though. Tried a few of them and not sure if it was choices we made (though most of it were recommended), but didn't like it, not even their best sellers.

Lola Seattle

Website: https://www.lolaseattle.com/ IT is in 50 Things to Eat before you die in Seattle by Spoon University Made-to-order Doughnuts Was in the Top to eat in Seattle It was really good though I think you can buy this in food trucks/ stalls.  The only difference is they have fresh marmalade and butter.  But you are paying 10$ for just small 5 doughnut balls, in addition to the sales tax + 20% service charge that they added right away in your bill so you end up paying $13+.  That is really uberpriced for those donuts.  Rating: 3.5 out of 5 https://spoonuniversity.com/lifestyle/40-dishes-snacks-drinks-to-try-in-seattle-before-you-die

Tried the Pine Nuts Yellow Croaker (whole Fish) interesting as it was kinda crunchy/crispy so I liked it It was with Sweet and source sauce Bokchoy Sprouts with Bean curd The bean curd was cut like some noodles. Food was slightly bland but good. Shanghai Thick Chow Mien This was very "Chinese" for me.. with thick and very filling kind of noodle. Not my thing though but it was good. Bokchoy with Bean Curd Shanghai Thick Chow Mien Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings) Yellow Croaker

Kimpton Palladian Hotel

Website:   http://www.palladianhotel.com/ Address:  2000 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121 Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Star Feedback: Location is really good. It is like a 5-minute walk to Pike Place Market. Room is huge and clean - very "boutique-y", kinda trying to look a bit old / vintage with some paintings and copper/ bronzed faucets. Downside: I was put on the 3rd floor (1/30/2018) in the corner and it was really quite noisy. I could hear the cars honking etc.
