This year, we ended up being in Iceland coincidentally during the Winter light festival and attended a couple of their events. February 4, 2016 Opening Night THE PAINT SPLATTER ARTWORK - PAINT.IS Harpa, Studio Ólafur Elíasson and Visit Reykjavík called for proposals for an artwork which will utiliz the façade of Harpa Concert Hall. One artwork has been chosen and will be presented during The Reykjavík Winter Lights Festival. The authors are Halldór Eldjárn and Þórður Hans Baldursson. "We intend to convert the Harpa façade into a giant interactive canvas. Participants are able to illustrate the canvas by colliding it with virtual paint.
