Cha Ya (Japanese Vegetarian)

Image
Website:  http://cha-ya.blogspot.com/ Address: 762 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110 Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Feedback: Cheap and good.  Not my taste though as I'm not into vegetarian food.  Sansa Noodle Godo with a lot of Bamboo shoots, seaweed, etc Cha Ya Roll Interesting as it has some sort of fried tapioca skin.

Bi-Rite Ice Cream (18th Street and Dolores)

Image
Website:  http://biritecreamery.com/ Address:  3692 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110 Food Rating: 4 out of 5 Food Feedback:  A bit pricy 4.50 for a scoop and 8.99 for a pint.  The queue is pretty long too.  It is good but not worth queuing.  I guess it is just really a hype.  Salted Caramel and Cheesecake flavors are good.  Honey Lavender - I think it is more acquired taste - it kinda taste like eating soap. Salted Caramel and a Pint of Blueberry Cheesecake!

Chloe's @26th and Church

Website:   https://www.facebook.com/ChloesCafeSF/ Address:  1399 Church St, San Francisco, CA 94114 Rating: 4 out of 5 Feedback: The queue is not as bad as Tartine's but has good breakfast. It's American breakfast so pancakes, omelettes, etc.  My colleagues love this place but personally it's just OK. Pancake Combo (Banana Walnut Panckae)

Slurp Noodle

Image
Website: http://www.slurpnoodlebarsanfrancisco.com/ Address:  469 Castro St, San Francisco, CA 94114 Rating: 3.5 out of 4 star Food Feedback: It is an OK noodle and ramen bar.  Not really my taste. I think you can get better ones elsewhere. A bit too salty Kimchi Pot stickers - didn't like it Garlic Noodle  Too saucy, I can't really quite figure the garlic-y taste. But didn't like this

Stone Kitchen, 4 Embarcadero

Image
Website:   http://www.stonekoreankitchen.com/ Address: Four Embarcadero Center, just right opposite Ferry Building Food Rating: 4 out of 5 Feedback: Nothing fantastic but it's cheap and good food especially during happy hour! Drinks were 50% during that time as well. So if you are looking for something cheap and good during 5-7 pm on a weekday, this is a good place! Ron's Pit Stop (Mission)

Image
Yelp:  http://www.yelp.com/biz/rons-pit-stop-san-francisco-4 Address:  1401 Valencia St San Francisco, CA 94110 b/t 26th St & 25th St Mission (Inside Clooney's Pub) Food Rating: 3 out of 5 star Food Feedback: Honestly don't understand the 5-star rating in Yelp, but went there last Monday, April 11 and got some quarter chicken and quarter slab.  Tasted like chicken and ribs, with so much bbq sauce.  In fairness, the chicken and ribs, taste 'fresh' and not Frozen.   As for the place, looks like a dive bar to me.

Buttermilk Southern Kitchen (Mission)

Image
Website: http://buttermilksouthernkitchen.com/ Address:  2848 23rd St, San Francisco, CA 94110 Food Rating:  3.5 out of 5 Food Feedback: I had it delivered on April 12 and asked for the Buttermilk Fried Chicken plate, which contains 3 pcs of Chicken, cornbread and 2 sides (ordered Coleslaw and Mac & Cheese).  Costs 16 dollars. Chicken - it was OK. Nothing fantastic or good.  But I ended up getting 5 drumsticks. Coleslaw - Some people might like it, but slightly a bit weird for me as it was rather sweet. Mac & Cheese - Good one!

Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, SF

Image
Website:  http://www.humphryslocombe.com/ Address: Several locations  but the ones I have visited Mission: 2790A Harrison Street San Francisco, California 94110 Directions Embarcadero: Inside Ferry Building Feedback: Seems like another one of those super popular ice cream in SF.  Lines is not as bad as BiRite but can be long especially in the Ferry Building.  They have funky / interesting flavors like 'secret breakfast' - has cornflakes and many others. Personally, it's OK. Nothing amazing.... would prolly just go to Mitchell's. The Harrison Street (Mission) Branch Princess Pink Lemonade Sorbet

Zeni Ethiopian @Saratoga Avenue, Los Gatos

Image
http://zeniethiopianrestaurant.com/ Address: 1320 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA 95129 Rating: 4 out of 5 star Interesting Ethiopian Restaurant in Los Gatos. Seats and Tables were interesting and food was good and relatively affordable for 50 bucks for 2 platters and 2 cups of Ethiopian coffee. I actually wanna do the 40 dollar Coffee which apparently is on weekday and with a ceremony, but good for a lot of people.

Hillside Supper Club

Image
http://www.hillsidesupperclub.com/ Address:  300 Precita Ave San Francisco, CA 94110 Rating: 3.5 out of 5 star At just the corner of the Precita Park, is a small but nice restaurant. Food is OK and slightly pricy.  Savory Bread Pudding - supposed to be crispy on the outside and soft & moist inside.  Honestly, seems like it is burned. As for coffee, I ordered a cup of latte and it was too milky... Not the "Ritual or Blur Bottle" level of latte..really far from it.  Also for latte art lovers, don't expect. .there was not even a heart :( Savory Bread Pudding

An Act of God (with Sean Hayes)

Image
Feedback: Sean Hayes is really really really funny! Amazing comedian and actor! For the religious ones, beware, it can be a bit blasphemous, so take it with a grain of salt. It is really just comedy!  (From SHNSF site ) AN ACT OF GOD The new hit play from the creator of, well, everything. "Deliriously funny! It's Jon Stewart funny plus Stephen Colbert funny."   - The New York Times   "Sinfully funny! A divine comedy!"   - Vanity Fair   "Wickedly funny and irreverent!"   - The Hollywood Reporter   After conquering Broadway, the King of the Universe is coming to San Francisco for the first time ever! God takes the form of Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes in AN ACT OF GOD , a 90-minute comedy where the Almighty and His devoted Angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation.
