This was definitely something not to be missed... as the next one is 2 decades from now. Fortunately, San Francisco is a hilly place and so I ran towards the intersection of 25th and Dolores Street, and found a good spot to wait for the Super Blood Moon to rise. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy but around passed 7.30 PM (PDT), the moon started becoming visible and there I saw the super red moon! Waiting for the moon to rise And there were tons of people starting at the moon And the moon finally came out!!! Such a lovely moon .. and seems a bit romantic The Sept. 27 event is therefore being called a " supermoon eclipse ." The last such eclipse happened in 1982, and the next won't occur until 2033.
