Definitely one of the big Tennis competitions, the US Open is one of the things which are in my bucket list. I have been to Roland Garros (French) and Wimbledon and it seems that US open seems to be 'less' exciting and crowded than both. But at any rate, it was still very very very fun!

Tips:

If you are a USTA member (US tennis association), you can try checking if you can get into a different gate. The line/queue can be a bit long but they sometimes have USTA member appreciation weekend that will allow you to easily get into the stadium without the long queue.
Spend some time going around as you will get a lot of freebies. Check out the big sponsors. In 2015, they were giving mobile chargers for Chase card members, and for AMEX, an earphone where you can here real-time commentaries about the game.
Do NOT bring bags as the queue is longer for you guys especially if you are not a USTA member. There are also a lot of things you can NOT bring like self sticks so do check what you can and cannot bring. They are very strict.

I was really rooting for Belluci but unfortunately, Murray was just really that good. Murray was really amazing that it seems so easy to him despite all the powerful forehands and cuts that Belluci did. Despite losing, Belluci does show that he is a good player and has a great potential to be a Top Tennis Player soon.

Donald Young vs Viktor Troicki at the Grand Stand

Personal Opinion: Viktor won the first 2 sets but Donald won the rest (3 sets). I feel a bit really disappointed with the audience though rooting for Donald and who was not even supporting or even paying courtesy to Viktor (Serbian). It feels like he was soooo down because he doesn't have any crowd support. American Audience are unfortunately a very disrespectful bunch.
