Dollar Hits, Historic Filipino Town Los Angeles

Image
Address: Historic Filipino Town, beside K-Town, 2422 W Temple St, Los Angeles, CA 90026 Rating: 4 out of 5 Feedback: Amazing! Almost everything for 1 dollar and you can grill it yourself as well. They have special menus/dishes which cost more than a dollar e.g. Balut (Philippine's Weird Duck Egg) is 2 dollars Definitely, Philippine Street Food that has a variety of "EXOTIC" things like Betamax - Coagulated Pig's Blood Pig's Ears Chicken Skin Chicken and Pork Intestines and many many more Do NOT order the garlic rice - it was old and hard rice. Just order a steamed rice. Balut (Duck Egg)

The Hart and the Hunter (Melrose, Los Angeles)

Website:  http://www.thehartandthehunter.com/ Address:  7950 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046 Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Feedback: Restaurant inside PaliHotel, this serves really good food. We tried Crab Egg's Benedict which was really good. The bun was interesting since instead of bread, they used battered tomato. Ordered crab for 20$ as it was only 3$ more from a normal Egg's Benedict. Biscuits is their famous dish here for like 10$. Reminded me of Scones and it came with Preserved Jam, Cinnamon Cream Cheese, and Cheese Pimiento.

Runyon Canyon Park HIking

Website:  https://www.laparks.org/park/runyon-canyon Address: Runyon Canyon Park, 2000 N Fuller Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, USA Feedback: I liked it since there was a nice view of Los Angeles (unlike Crystal Cove where more than half of the route, you can't really see anything but just dead / brown landscape).   There were lots of water fountains and the trail is pretty much easy with actual pavements There's a LOT of people hiking or even people who just go for a run Nice SHORT Hike with a view of Hollywood, Griffith observatory, and skyline of LA Parking: Fuller Ave or just around the streets near it. Can get crowded if you get later in the day.

Alfred Tea Room / Coffee (Melrose Place, Los Angeles)

Alfred Tea Room Website:  https://alfred.la/ Address:  705 N Alfred St, Los Angeles, CA 90069 Rating: 4 out of 5 for Tea 4.5 out of 5 for Coffee Feedback: Signature Pink Drink  It's like Almond milk with Raspberry/Strawberry flavor. Not really my thing but it's also like 6.50 for their Signature Pink Drink so a bit pricy. Matcha - OK nothing amazing but it was good. Boba could be better Coffee - good but would have wanted nicer latte art
