Website: http://cockscombsf.com/ Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Address: 564 Fourth Street • San Francisco, CA 94107  (Tel 415.974.0700) SOMA area Price Rating: $$$$ out of 5 Feedback: Date: October 7. 2017 Place is a bit on the pricy end, like 20 dollars additional for Foie Gras!!! OMG! Tried 3 things today Beef Heart Tartare (16) Not really much on this and can't taste from other Tartar but this tasted slighly blander which is actually I prefer. Pig Skin Puttanesca (16) The actual Noodle was Pig Skin - but it actually tasted more like the Chinese Cold Dish - Jelly Fish - same texture and taste.   "Ham"burger with Foie Gras (15 + 20 dollars additional for Foie Gras) Really Liked This!!!! "Ham" because it is not BEEF patty but rather made of Brined Ground Pork. For the drink City of Rose (13) pretty much like Rose with some vermouth. Not sweet, kinda a bit bland though slightly refreshing What to try Next? Impossible Burger (only for Lu

Pampalasa, SOMA, San Francisco

Note:  Closing in September 2016.  Just like any other shops in San Francisco, they are impacted by the high rent and just waiting for a new tenant to take over the place.  Really sad! Website: http://www.pampalasa.com/ Address: Rating: 4.5 out of 5 star Feedback: I tried their Kamayan Sunday Brunch and it was definitely a good experience.  The food generally was good, though didn't like the chicken tocino though.  Also, I wished the rice was garlic rice, rather than just steamed rice with garlic bits and spring onions. Also, make sure you are REALLY HUNGRY when you go for this.  This is TOO MUCH food.  Three of us went there and we felt that we could accommodate a 4th or 5th person with the amount of food. Price was reasonable for around 35 dollars. What is Kamayan? Kamayan means using of hands and this is a traditional Filipino style that you eat your hands.  I would however, add that this concept is more specifically called a Boodle Fight and as  Urban Dictionar

Website:   http://misssaigonsf.net/ Address: 100 6th Street (2 blocks from AMC Metreon) Food Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Star Food Feedback: This is one good and cheap place for getting Vietnamese Pho! It has the #1 Pho in the Best Bowls of Pho in SF . From the  Best Bowls of Pho in SF  - " The filet mignon pho here is the absolute TRUTH. I started working on this list looking for local pho that would top Miss SaiGon’s, but in the end, I went back, and it’s still the best in SF. This is some  real  filet mignon right here too. We’re not talkin’ thin slices; we’re talkin’ chunks and lots of ’em." 2/12/2017 Fresh Spring Rolls This was slightly small and was just OK for me. Not the best one but it was still good Ordered the Combination Beef Pho so that I can have beefbowls, steak, and meat. So for those who want to try all kinds of beef - then go for this. Vermicelli Noodle with Grilled Pork and Fried Spring Roll YUMMMMY!
