Website:  https://www.ramen-yamadaya.com/san-francisco/ Address: 1728 Buchanan St Floor 2, San Francisco, CA 94115  https://goo.gl/maps/2Hba7q7ehdu Rating: 4 out of 5 Feedback: February 10, 2019 Tried their Yamadaya Egg was good, just right thin noodles soup was yummy Pork Belly could be a bit better though.  It was really a huge slab of pork belly but could have been sliced thinner to make it easier to eat and could be a bit tastier. Overall it was a good ramen for 15 bucks (and it has everything)

Nearest Tube Station: Piccadily Circus Site:  https://www.kanada-ya.com/  Address:  3 Panton St, London SW1Y 4DL This is their 2nd store the first on is in 64 Saint Giles High Street, London WC2H 8LE, United Kingdom  Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Star Feedback: October 16, 2017 (Monday) As I've said in my  initial review,  "I personally consider this the best ramen I have tasted so far here in London. The soup and noodle was great, thick and tasty. The meat was soft as it should be. The Egg was a bit sweet (not to my liking but some might like it). " I ordered hard ramen which is the recommended one. And this time, I tried the Tonkotsu! Space is bigger than the one in Covent Garden but still tad small For some reason, I didn't have to wait long despite being there at 7 pm. I think the queue is not that bad for both shops from what I heard but normally for this place, it is better because they have more seats. Tonkotsu Ramen With Tan-ta...

Bantam King, Washington DC

Website: www.Bantamking.com Address: 501 G St NW, 20003  Washington DC Rating: 4 out of 5 Star Feedback: June 13, 2017 This restaurant is actually the sister restaurant of Daikaya ('acclaimed' #1 Ramen in DC) and just a block away from it Tried the Chicken Platter as per recommendation of the waitress in Daikaya and since I already tried Daikaya's Ramen Chicken was juicy and a bit spicy Rice - with Chicken Drippings - not too oily or fatty but I actually would have just preferred to have it as a side. The Menu The Restaurant The Toilet I just took a picture 'cuz it looks interesting with all the "chicken" pictures and a more festive lighting.

Daikaya Ramen, Chinatown, Washington DC

Website:  http://www.daikaya.com/ Address: 705 6th St NW, Washington, DC 20001 Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Star Feedback: Egg was perfect Ramen and Chasu was good Soup - quite good! Overall - Not the best but it is good and definitely a must-try Thrillist  (In one of the 50 Things to Eat in DC) SHOYU  RAMEN Daikaya  CHINATOWN   The Daikaya team -- Daisuke Utagawa, Chef Katsuya Fukushima, and Yama Jewayni -- have built a  ramen  empire here with Bantam King, Haikan, and the original, Daikaya. The latter is still the best, offering Sapporo-style  ramen  that is distinguished by its Chintan stock, a clear soup base that requires over 16 hours of preparation to achieve its delicate and complex depth. Daikaya is also one of the only  ramen -yas in DC not to use the ubiquitous Sun noodles, as they’re now one of only two  ramen  shops in the US that use the Nishiyama. ----

Ramen Maruya, Japan Village, Los Angeles

Image
Website: Address: 104 Japanese Village Plaza Mall, Los Angeles, CA 90012 Rating: 4 out of 5 star Feedback: June 8, 2017 Ordered CHASU Ramen which was in the posters in the restaurant and their most popular food on the menu Noodle was good - thin and firm Soup - broth was nice and full Eggs - wasn't really like a japanese egg - lack the kind of consistency that I am looking for.  It is more just like a half boiled egg. Chasu - not bad but it was reallllly too much for me.  It was thinly sliced and easy to eat. Kinda like it. Cost 15.95 so tad expensive for Ramen but it's a lot of Chasu. Takoyaki Tempura Too oily and not really my thing for me.

Coco's Ramen (Mission Street/Bernal Heights)

Image
Website: http://www.cocoramen.com/ Address:   3319 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110 Rating: 4 out of 5 Feedback: Just right beside Big Lots and opposite Safeway is a small quaint Japanese ramen / sushi place.  What I like about the place is that it is not crowded like going to Ken Ken Ramen where the queue is pretty long. I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen ($11.50) and Negi Hama Hama Sushi ($5.00). Negi Hama Hama is a traditional Japanese Roll  This was very simple yet I really like it.  It was freshly made by their sushi chef.  Simple and Good! Very nice Sushi Chef too :) Tonkotsu Ramen I ordered the Pork Belly, instead of Char Siu and definitely is good just like any other stewed Pork Belly Tonkotsu soup was not as thick as I want it and seems like it wasn't the 12-16 hour boiled soup.   It was mild spicy as I asked for less spicy. It was generally good but nothing amazing.  Better than Ken Ken Ramen though in my opinion. ...
