September 4, 2020

Went to Eaton canyon for the long weekend and was hoping not to get heatstroke with temp going as high as 105F during this weekend. It was pretty OK since we went quite early at 8 am and this was an easy hike of around 3Miles (round trip) which took us around less than 1.5 Hours.

The trail going there was pretty much open until you reach the bridge (you actually have to go under the bridge and follow the path of the creek towards the falls), and then it's pretty shaded but this is only around 25% of the route, wish it was a bit longer.

The Falls itself was pretty small. Probably, because it is summer that is why there was not much water. I prepared my swim wear but only saw dogs swimming around. Water was really very shallow.  At any rate, this hike was pretty EASY.
