Mayfield Lavender Farm

http://www.mayfieldlavender.com/
Croydon Lane, Banstead SM7 3BE

Directions: According to their site, "From CENTRAL LONDON – If you are travelling from Central London it is easiest to take the train to West Croydon and just get the 166 bus. This bus stops directly outside our main entrance and the stop for our farm is called “OAKS PARK”

Fee: 1 pound per person.

I personally was surprised that it was actually huge and I thought the pictures I googled was just fake or just a good "angle."  But the pictures really were what you will see.  It is really nice there and worth visiting (since Avignon is that far).

What you can eat there?

They sell scones, bread, and lavender tea.  All sorts of lavender pastries and drinks (e.g. lemon & lavender).

And the beautiful farm ...
