  • Went back and waited for ages for their Pan-Fried Dumplings (and they actually also made a mistake giving it to others).  We finished eating everything and waited for another 20 minutes before we got it.  They actually felt so bad that they gave us another order of the dumplings + the sweet "sesame" Shanghai Style Donut.
  • Take NOTE: CASH ONLY
  • Also, you can only have ONE order of the Pan-fried dumplings because the kitchen is samll.

It was good

Onion pancakes was a "meh" for me. Feel free to skip it.
They said the "Beef" is good.

Shanghai Style Donuts
Had some sesame paste inside - but didn't really like it.

Shanghai Pan-Fried Soup Dumplings
This is their specialty. Make sure you order them!

Beef Chao Fun
It is OK but not bad if you want some noodles.

  • I actually enjoyed it as it reminded me of just walking around Hongkong, China, or Singapore in those cheap stalls but good dumplings.
  • They have soup dumplings and normal dumplings - not the best one - the skin is quite thick (don't think this is Din Tai Fun because it is not) - but you know that it is actually really home made. Quite good and fresh in general though
  • Beef Tendon Noodle - Love the tendons and the noodles are home-made
  • Chives Pancakes - Love it
  • Cucumber Salad - refreshing and YUMMY!
  • Pan Fried soup dumpling - was ok for me - too think skin, but worth a try though.
  • There's a queue, not that long though.

Beef Tendon Noodle
Yummy Tendons and Noodles are really freshly made

Not the best as skin was thick but it was good

I actually love the Cucumber Salad
Refreshing, sweet, and good.

Pan-Fried Soup Dumpling
This seems like a small pork bun with some soup in it.

Soup Dumpling
Quite good - only bad thing is the thick skin!
