Galway - Connemara, Roundstone, and many more ...

Galway is a very nice region in the West Coast.  You can find the Galway town, Cliffs of Moher, and great Irish landscapes.  A good way to go around is probably to drive around, rather than taking a train as it is just beautiful and there are a lot of Photostops as you drive along the coast.
We actually drove for a weekend (May 16 - 17, 2015) and seen a lot of things. Only issue is that weather is very unpredicatble, so prepare yourself with attire, rain or shine.

Places to Eat

McSwiggan's Restaurant
Address: Eyre Street
It looks like a small restaurant, but apparently it's big as it goes on and on and has quite a number of floors.  It is quite a nice restaurant and food is decent.

On the way to Galway

Roundstone, Connemara, Galway

Considered as the most picturesque fishing harbor in Connemara.   I personally thought Roundstone was nice and quaint (but not the most spectacular / picturesque country side).  But it is really nice though.

Beach near Roundstone area

There are a couple of beaches near the Roundstone town, and one actually is near a graveyard.

Ballynahinch Castle Estate, Between the Bridges

There's a small bridge and going down that bridge, you get to see a great Irish landscape.

Abbeyglen Castle

Kylemore Abbey and Victoria Walled Gardens

A beautiful Castle, Abbey, and Boarding School built with a very beautiful Irish landscape.  I personally think that the abbey/school's interior was a bit disappointing, but the view outside and just walking around is breathtaking.

The Gothic Church

The Mausoleum

Skyroad Loop View

Try to take the skyroad as it is a great driving route for seeing Irish landscape.

Seafood chowder

1/2 Kilograms - it was considered as a 'starter', it was really fresh and good.
