Covid Testing

I was using One-Medical to schedule for a covid test.  They had two types of tests

  • PCR Test (Schwab test) where they put those cotton sticks on your nose and check if you have Covid
  • Antibody Test where they will test if you "ever" had Covid.
Unfortunately, I can only find one with PCR test near my flat (as I have been avoiding to commute) and was looking for Testing Centers that are of walking distance.

I went to One Medical in mission:


On the day itself, i just went to the Testing Center, fill out the form.  I have to stay outside since I had a bit of cough (not really cough but because of the mask that I was wearing it was making my throat itchy).  If you have any cough or any symptoms, the'll ask you to wait outside.

They will just call you when it's your turn and it's really just a quick one. Just roll the cotton buds in both your nostrils. The newer ones is that they don't have to put it up deep to your nostrils so it didn't hurt. Just got a bit ticklish.  


Results were supposed to be send with 2weeks but I received  mineAugust 24, 2020.  Apparently, they just forgot to send it to me!!!!!  So make sure you follow up with them.

Lake Elsinore Walker Canyon Live Camera

It's been really hard finding the live camera for Walker Canyon at Lake Elsinore so that I can check out if there is super bloom. Transportation: Use Oyster Card Traveling by Tube/Tram/Buses Visitor Oyster Card Make sure you use the oyster card  or visit oyster card, there is a deposit of 5 pounds, but you can refund that later on.  The good thing is that it caps daily, weekly , and monthly  . Apparently, oyster card does not cap weekly - you have to explicitly  purchase a 7 day travel card for the oyster.  One day is around 8 pounds and 7 days is around 32 pounds plus 5 pounds deposit for the card, which you can refund later.
