Feedback:
  • Instead of queuing up in line the day before and not really seeing the floats, I suggest you go to the post-parade show case where they put all the floats in one place for you to see, take pictures, and appreciate.
  • It's actually quite a huge place and you will need more than two hours to go
  • They set up the place so that they have food stalls, sponsor's booths, and some activities so you might want to check it out and at least spend half a day there.
  • Food is fairly limited with hotdog stands, kernel, and the usual food stall stuff (but not that much). They had California Pizza Kitchen there though
  • The floats were amazing - really beautiful and they really spent time doing it up.
  • There are attendants who can help explain all the different floats.

Tips: They will suggest to park in Pasadena City College or Rose Bowl Stadium (if there is no game), but unfortunately, the queue just to get into the shuttle takes 1-2.5 hours depending on the number of people. We queued up for like almost 2 houors and the line was zigzagging more than 2 tennis courts.

My cousin's friends parked at 3438–3534 E Sierra Madre Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107, United States, which is a 10 minute walk to the showcase area.

I suggest if you do park here - Uber or Lyft to the Rose Parade showcase after or do what other people do, park near the showcase and just walk in.  There are lot of residential areas or there are actually more official parking for like 10 dollars near the showcase area.

Post-Parade ticket costing 13 dollars each

The line (halfway) in the Pasadena City College's Tennis courts.. took us two hours

Some of the nice floats!
