Chessington - World of Adventure
Chessington is a theme park + Zoo safari + Sea Life. It's quite a small park in comparison to Universal and Disney but it's unique on its own since it combines safari with sea life with a theme park.
How to go there: From Waterloo station, go to Chessington South Station (it is just a 10minute walk from there). Chessington South is in Zone 6, so you can use your Oyster card and it takes around 35 minutes from Waterloo Station.
It is a theme park with various rides. Don't compare this with Universal or Disney as obviously it is not that good, but it's always great to do a day trip in Chessington.
Hocus Pocus Hall - This was quite interesting, with you wearing 3D glasses and going thru some sort of a wacky world! Very interesting!

This place is also a zoo and a safari. It is a min-zoo..... and I'm sure kids will love it!
Capybaras (they are apparently the largest rodent)
Sea Life
A small Sealife with usual sea creatures like Jellyfishes, Clown fishes and etc. It will probably take you half an hour or more depending on how much you like seeing all sorts of sea creatures. It is pretty small but it's nice.
