Duck and Waffle

Brunch Review:
Just beside Paddington station.  Has a great view. Food is good  but pricey and nothing spectacular.
We had duck and waffles of course - the duck confit was a good one but was not really "for the table" kind of meal but just for one person.  The colombian eggs was great, love the taste but after adding salmon, costed around 15 which was way to much.  The braised pig's cheek was interesting and packed in an interesting paper bag with that red wax stamp.
Overall,  not a great day-to-day brunch place but great for bringing visitors over because of the view.  Need to book early though as it seems to be very popular!

Late Night Review:
I went back July 18, 2016 and went like 1.30 AM (yes, really late) and tried again their Duck and Waffle.  It tasted much better than what I remembered, not sure if it was that I'm hungry or it feels that the place was NOT too crowded that they are rushing for the food.

I feel that for late night this is quite reasonable since you normally pay a lot more for evening food.

Apparently, it is quite crowded Thursday evening even at 2 AM.  There are a lot of folks in the bar. I tried their signature cocktail - Pine-Kale-ada - a twise of PiƱa colada and adding it with Kale (saying that is Green and healthy.  Quite good but tad expensive.

Tip: It's really hard to book this place but apparently, they are 24 hours so you can go in the wee hours of the morning if you are getting hungry around that time
