Ice Buko Recipe

Image
Recipe:  https://www.pagkaingpinoytv.com/ice-buko/ I use the Recipe in Pagkaing Pinoy TV but skipped the beans, sugar, water part since I don't have beans and replace it with Nata de Coco Instead.  I also used less coconut since I am using Shredded coconut and not fresh one. Modifying the recipe as follows: Ingredients  For the Ice Buko Part 1 1/2 cup shredded coconut  1/3 cup condensed milk  200 ml (~1 cup) all purpose cream  2 cups water  For the Bean Topping  (I opted out of this and just use Nata de coco) 1 cup water  1 cup adzuki beans or red beans  1/4 cup sugar  Instructions  For the Beans Topping  In a pot over medium-high heat, add the water, adzuki beans and sugar.  Stir and cook for 30 minutes or until it becomes tender and the liquid thickens.  Transfer to a bowl and let it cool.  For the Ice Buko In a bowl, combine shredded coconut, condensed milk, all purpose cream and coconut water.  Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Cheesy Pandesal Recipe

Image
I am using this recipe from FoxyFolksy.com  and I just added Velveeta Quick Melt Cheese to make it cheesy. TIP: DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH FLOUR WHEN KNEADING.   I realized after X time failing on making a good pandesal, I was actually putting too much flour when kneading. Expect it to be sticky and when you keep on kneading it, it will eventually be less sticky.  Of course, spread a bit of flour on the table/mat and oil on your hands so it doesn't get sticky.   This was the result of my cheesy pandesal The ball-like pandesal was Cheese and the the row behind are plain pandesal I tried poking it to test if the dough was good enough after leaving it for an hour to rise. I didn't pop back so it was perfect. Recipe:  https://www.foxyfolksy.com/pandesal-recipe/ Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar  1 teaspoon salt  1 cup milk - - lukewarm  1 egg  2 tablespoon butter - - melted (or margarine)  1 1/2 teaspoon instant dry yeast  1/
