Branca @Oxford

Image
A nice restaurant for brunch in Oxford.  The place was very "bright" with the glass windows and it was just really nice.  The food though was just OK and nothing spectacular. Where: 111 Walton Street, Oxford OX2 6AJ, United Kingdom Site:  http://www.branca.co.uk/

37 Dawson Street @Dublin

Image
link: http://37dawsonstreet.ie/ This was an interesting bar which looks like Museum of Modern Arts (MoMA) with chairs on the wall, and other very interesting decors.

Dublin Wine Room

Image
Address: 1 Burton Hall, Mayor Square, IFSC, Dublin 1 Link: http://dublinwinerooms.com/ This is prolly good for those who love wines.  This place serves good food (but I don't find this spectacular or worth the price though).  Mains are around 20+ Euros and Starters around 10+ Euros. Scallops and Pork Belly as a starter.  This was good. Tender and juicy pork belly. Ham and Manchego Chees *This was really good Hake in Bouillabaise *This is OK

Rabbit @ Sloane Square

Image
Link: http://www.rabbit-restaurant.com/ Address: 172 King's Road, Chelsea, London Sometimes dubbed as the best British Tapas at its finest, this restaurant is apparently owned three brothers (a restaurateur, a chef and, a farmer) and indeed, the food is good (though tad pricy). Tip: Do Not order the Set Menu which costs 28 pounds per person... seems like you end up paying more. We ended up seemingly to have one dish which is not bigger than individually ordered dishes and sharing among the three of us. Just order individual dishes as it is probably cheaper. Article from the Telegraph:  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/restaurants/11319069/Rabbit-London-SW3-restaurant-review.html The Rabbit Loosener Drink! (Virgin or with Vodka) The Mouthfuls: Crab Bomb, Mushroom Marmite Eclair, Rabbit Rilettes, Chicory Seabass Roe The Mushroom Marmite Eclair was really good and I didn't really detect a hint of marmite, but just very strong truffles

Meat Liquor @ Wellbeck, Oxford Street

Image
Link: www.meatliquor.com/london They have a lot of branches. One near Oxford street and another in covent garden. Address:   74 Welbeck Street | London | W1G 0BA , just behind Debenhams Closest Tube Station: Bond Street (or further a bit is Oxford Circus) Prolly not the best buffalo wings I have tasted, but it is amazing enough for my "buffalo wings" fix.  You can try out their tasty "buffalo" burger as well. It is really oily and hot! Dirty Chicken Burger They normally serve all the orders in one tray.... Bingo (Buffalo wings) , Onion Rings, and the burgers Buffalo Chicken Burger

64 Degrees London

Image
CLOSED -  Too Bad! Address: 52 Cambridge Street London Nearest Tube Station: Victoria Station or Pimlico Link:   http://www.64degrees.co.uk/ This restaurant serves 'small servings' (tapas-style) though it is not really that small.  They serve a good variety of food and it is really worth it.  There were 6 of us and we spend around 130 pounds all in all.  The Modern European Brighton flagship opens a branch in the capital as part of the Artist Residence hotel in Pimlico. The original 64 Degrees opened in Brighton in 2013 and caused quite a splash for its interesting dishes and chic feel. It’s attracted so much attention that a new London boutique hotel,  Artist Residence , has struck a deal to open this more spacious branch on their corner site in a mostly residential part of Pimlico. (read more from time out ) The Menu The beer and cider selection Bone Marrow, Rye Bread, and Mushrooms Really 'unhealthy' and oily food
