Winterthur MusikFestWochen 2019

Image
https://musikfestwochen.ch We went on August 13, 2019 (Tuesday). It was kinda a small celebration in a small town of Winterthur, but it was interesting and really fun. In a square beside the church, with two stages, and a they have an area for food. It was also FREE! The bands that I saw were as follows. I really enjoyed the Michale Fehr and Manuel Troller (just love the kind of song they have, blues and lindy-hop kind of music. The Stages The Musicians The Food Area and there are also a lot of booths for booze around the area (obviously, you are in a German-part of Switzerland, so lots of beer!)

Rating: 4.0 out of 5 Website:  https://www.dreamhotels.com/default-en.html Feedback: Hip Hotel in the meatpacking district.  Rooms are quite good and new. Fancy and Hip. Cons: They have a fridge where I can't put anything since they are all stocked with bottles and I can't take them away, since they will get automatically charged if I do so. Didn't find a lotion  No Bath Tub for the common hotel room I requested for some ice and I need to PAY $5 for a bucket of ice!!!! Really Crowded since people come here to party!

Cheers Pub (If you love the Cheers series) Chinatown Northend Mamma Maria Italian Fine Dining. I tried their Osso bucco and it just melts in your mouth.  Their lobster Agnolotti Pasta was really good too, real lobster Mike's Pastry  https://www.mikespastry.com/ There are three branches  Assembly Row, Harvard Sq, and North End. But the original is at North End.  There has been a competition between Mike's and Modern Pastry for who has the best cannoli, but you should try both. Other than cannolis, seems like their profiteroles and lobster tail are also popular. Modern Bakery http://www.modernpastry.com/ They are know for Cannolis and always has a long line. Try to get one, and if you are too full, they have minis too :) Chinatown https://cheersboston.com/ The Original Cheers pub
