The Millhouse At Maui Tropical Plantation Address: 1670 Honoapiilani Hwy, Wailuku, HI 96793 Rating: 4 out of 5 Star http://mauitropicalplantation.com/mill-house-dining/ This is special because they design their menu based on the produce harvested in their Kumu Farm so it's fresh and organic. June 30, 2017: Boquerones (cubed fish on a baguette) Fish (Onaga - long-tailed red snapper) with cucumber, papaya, macadamia nut, and coconut curry, tomato jam, calamansi Quite Good, it was interesting with the tomato jam and sweet macadamia nut. Beef Ragu Was a bit salty for me but if they made it less salty, everything else would have been great. Beef was good, pasta was perfect. Fish (Onaga) Beef Ragu Boquorones Beautiful walk to the restaurant

Website: http://dakitchen.com/ Rating: 4 out of 5 star Address: 425 Koloa St., Suite 104 Kahului, HI 96732 Feedback: VERY Huge portions! Good Hawaiian Food and they do a lot to experiment Quite popular and there was like a 30 minute wait for us on Saturday evening for a party of 2. July 1 2017: We tried Fried Spam Musubi and the Notorius Big Moco Fried Spam Musubi $6.25 "Signature dish created for the Travel Channel's Bizarre Food Show It was some sort of Breaded (Panko - Japanese Bread Crumbs) coated Spam Musubi and deep fried with Teriyaki sauce I personally didn't like it 'cuz there was too much taste going on. I would prolly just go for plain spam Musubi.  The breading was a bit too thick and the teriyaki was a bit too overpowering. Notorios B.I.G Moco $19.99 Their "crazy" big version of Loco Moco. It has hamburger steak topped with chili, Mexican Cheese, 2 eggs, mushrooms, onions, spam, Bacon, Portuguese Sausage,

Hawaii Nature Center @ Iao Valley

Image
Website:  http://hawaiinaturecenter.org/nature-programs/maui-community-programs/ A pretty valley known for the waterfall and Iao Needle.  Unfortunately, last Sept 2016, the place got flooded so when I was trying to get there today (July 1, 2017), it was closed and we can only get to the Hawaii Nature Center.  You can trek to the waterfall but it's a bit tad hard but you can walk a bit to see the Needle. The Hawaii nature center, even at the parking, it looks very beautiful surrounded by the mountains and you have the Korean, Chinese, and Japanese Gardens and seem a good place to have a picnic! the Iao Needle The Garden of the Lady Maintained by the Portuguese culture club Chinese Garden Japanese Garden Looks a bit dilapidated but still looks serence May 5, 2018 and finding the Iao Needle
