It's actually quite a huge place and you will need more than two hours to go They set up the place so that they have food stalls, sponsor's booths, and some activities so you might want to check it out and at least spend half a day there.  Food is fairly limited with hotdog stands, kernel, and the usual food stall stuff (but not that much). And it only happens every three years on the first weekend of July! The city of Zurich turns into one big party: music, food, an amusement park and spectacular shows and fireworks entertain the crowds. If you think Zurich is boring, then try coming around this time as people party all the way till 5 am.  Seriously, I've been in this city several times and I find that shops close early, etc, but this weekend, there were so many people, both locals and tourists walking around the city till wee hours of the morning.
