Ritual Coffee Roasters @Valencia

Image
Webpage:  https://www.ritualroasters.com/ Address: 1026 Valencia Street Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Feedback: Really good coffee with great baristas (not always perfect but still good).  The place is quite trendy and hipster, seems like being there prolly makes you look 'cool' (or not!).  But coffee-wise it is really.  I prefer four barrels and the hot mocha in Dandelion 's though. Black Coffee and Flat White Cappuccino Take Out Flat White

Day of the Dead (MIssion @ SF)

Image
Webpage:  http://www.dayofthedeadsf.org/ "History of Day of the Dead Over 15,000 people will gather in the Mission to participate in the 26th Annual Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead Procession & Altars. Through art, music, and ritual this event honors our ancestors and celebrates the vitality and richness of today's community. While the ceremony remains true to its Latino roots, the San Francisco procession actively encourages participation by people of all origins. Bring candles, photos, food, or something that reminds you of a person that has passed away. The altars are community art installations that are intended to change as each person adds something to the hearth. Starting at 7:00 P.M. at the corner of 22nd and Bryant St. proceeds on Bryant to 24th St., then down 24th to Mission St., then moves along Missions to 22nd St., then goes along 22nd to Bryant St., for the closing ritual "  (http://www.dayofthedeadsf.org/)

Sangria - Big and Yummy Greek Salad - good but disappointed that it doesn't have the cherry tomatoes, olives, and squared Feta Cheese.  So it was not so Greek salad-y! Fried pickles - interesting Lamb Racks - Really Good Mac & Cheese!  Souvlaki Rice

Crepe House @ Valencia

Image
Webpage:   http://thecrepehouse.com/ Address:   1132 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110 Food Rating: 4 out of 5 Feedback:  Another easy place to get brunch as it does not get crowded.  It is prolly not crowded 'cuz it is further up Valencia street around 20th Street.   Food-wise, it's a hit and miss.   The French Toast and Savory Crepes were really good but the Strawberry Nutella Crepe fell short.   Too much choices!!! I really like this... Cornflakes French Toast! ! Buffalo wings - it was OK, nothing amazing Really disappointing.  Crepe was crispy, not enough chocolate, and the strawberry felt watery/gooey.

I love their Garlic Fries Ray's combination bag So worth it -- 1/2 lb shrimp, crawfish, clam, mussel, corn and 6 sausages
