London Eye

Image
Link:   https://www.londoneye.com/ Nearest Tube: Westminster Tube Station One of the famous London Icons is the the London Eye where you can get a good bird's eye view of London.  I personally don't think it's worth the price of 20 pounds (including the 4D).  I would rather go to Walkie Talkie (Sky Garden ) or OXO Tower.   But if you have Merlin Annual Pass , this is actually part of it. Trivia: Interesting trivia is that apparently, this was just supposed to be a temporary structure, not a permanent fixture in the Southbank River (you learn this from the 4D movie).  It was interesting to see the 4D movie to see how they built the London Eye.  Amazing! View of the Trains to Charing Cross

Bibendum

Considered as the most consistently excellent restaurant, Bibendum is a good restaurant, just walking distance from South Kensington Tube Station. The restaurant is interesting with the tiled-building and the Michelin's stained glasses.  It feels like I am trapped in time, in a Parisian restaurant, back in the 60's or earlier. The food was generally OK but I don't find anything fantastic, except for the steak which was juicy and tender.  This is more of a 3.5 out of 5 star for me. Mudchute Park and Farm

Small farm just near from Canary Wharf. We visited on Sunday (July 5, 2015).  The good thing is it is FREE, though you can donate through membership.   You can buy 1 pound feeds to feed the animals and pet them as well.  The animals are quite domesticated and tame.
