What to see? - Has a fantastic Great Hall (see picture) - Has a nice garden with greenhouse, stream, and waterfalls - Prolly the only house in the UK (or the world) where the coals are stored in the upper room (coal gallery). - Lord Richard was unable to do hunting due to illness and instead was interested in Natural History and Archaeology.  One of the stuffed animals was the almost extinct in the UK largest wild breeding bird, the Bustard Bird. -Try to check in the library the red and gold chequered Sir John Griffin Griffin's books. Plus, for the young ones (or the young one at heart), there is a miniature railway station just right across the house. Nearest Train Station: Audley End (an hour away from London Liverpool Street Tube station).  It is a bit of a walk (1.25 miles) and no proper pedestrian area so you might just decide to get a cab and pay around 5 pounds.

Ronda Hotel: Must-Sees: New Bridge if there was one thing that you should do in Ronda, this is it! The view of the new bridge is so spectacular! It felt like I was in Rivendell (Lord of the Rings). It's a bit crazy driving in South of Spain with all the roundabouts and the roads in the city itself is very narrow. If you are OK with that then I guess feel free to drive then you can do stops along the way. A pleasant restaurant along Fulham Road (Chelsea Borough) Calamari with black olives and sun dried tomato pesto.  Yummy!!

I decided to have a little bit of "ME" time today and ended up doing a bit of the canal walk.   I started off at Little Venice (get off at Warwick Avenue Tube Stop - Bakerloo line) and walk along the canal all the way to St. Mary's Hospital (near EdgeWare Station).   I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a nice walk along the canal.  I should have done more of this before.....  Here's the route: View from the Paddington Basin Little Venice

Food is good  but pricey and nothing spectacular.  We had duck and waffles of course - the duck confit was a good one but was not really "for the table" kind of meal but just for one person.  The colombian eggs was great, love the taste but after adding salmon, costed around 15 which was way to much.  The braised pig's cheek was interesting and packed in an interesting paper bag with that red wax stamp. Overall,  not a great day-to-day brunch place but great for bringing visitors over because of the view.  Need to book early though as it seems to be very popular!
